Safety and Health Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce occupational safety and health policies.
  • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH, and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.

Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage construction site activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Solve on-site technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and updates on project progress.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and material procurement.
  • Liaise with consultants, architects, and project managers to resolve construction challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or site supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.

Site Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee daily construction site activities to ensure work is completed on schedule and according to project specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure smooth site operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Certificate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in site supervision or construction.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
  • Willing to work on-site and travel as required.

Junior Purchaser

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of raw materials, components and equipment required for construction and operations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports on stock levels and purchasing activity.
  • Support the implementation of procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively across different functions.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve procurement issues.

Lifting Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing lifting plans to safely and efficiently move materials and equipment on site.
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of crane operators, riggers, and other personnel involved in lifting operations.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and efficiency.
  • Providing training and guidance to the team to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of lifting equipment and making recommendations for maintenance or replacement.
  • Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Thorough understanding of lifting equipment, rigging, and load-handling techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant health, safety , and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of crane operators and riggers.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges on the job site.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and lift plans.
  • Valid lifting supervisor certification or equivalent.
